Study On The Eastern Han Tombs In Nanyang Basin

In this paper,the Nanyang Basin area,which is of great importance in the Eastern Han Dynasty,was selected as the research scope.Graves,the most abundant material remains,were selected as the research object.Based on the comprehensive analysis of graves,this paper revealed some degree of social appearance in the area.This paper is divided into four parts to discuss.The first part is the preface.Expounds the unique natural geographical environment and historical evolution of Nanyang Basin,summarize the findings of the Eastern Han graves in Nanyang Basin in recent decades,and enumerate the academic history about graves with Han Stone Reliefs and general ones.The research status of the Eastern Han tombs in this area has been sorted out for several decades.Describe the reason and significance of this topic and expound the thinking and method of the research.The second part is the second chapter of this paper.Using archaeological research methods,divide the Eastern Han Tombs in this area into two categories.Meanwhile,analyze the typical pottery using the typology.Based on the analysis mentioned above,combined with the research results of coins and bronze mirrors,the Eastern Han tombs in this region were divided into four periods,include Xin-Mang Period to initial Eastern Han dynasty,the Eastern Han dynasty in the early,middle Eastern Han dynasty and late Eastern Han dynasty.The third part is chapter three of this paper.It is mainly about the differences between the tombs in Nanyang Basin and Luoyang area in the Eastern Han Dynasty in terms of the structure of the burial construction,the structure of the tombs,the characteristics of the typical remains and the customs of the joint burial.The fourth part is the fourth chapter of this article.According to the material of tombs and some related literature,Study on social culture and social economy in Eastern Han Dynasty in Nanyang Basin,that is,Confucianism and Taoism in the Eastern Han Dynasty were popular and social economy was flourishing.In the mean time,these also have an important influence on the funeral culture during the Eastern Han Dynasty.
