The Research On Guo Weiqu's Impressionism Elements

As an outstanding Chinese painting artist,Guo Weiqu not only inherited the exquisite skills in traditional paintings,but also absorbed the innovative elements in Western Impressionist paintings.He devoted his life to the development of Chinese painting in order to practice and study continually,and formed a set of strong theoretical basis.This thesis will focus on the Impressionist elements about Guo Weiqu's painting,explore Guo's successful experience in innovation and how to apply Impressionism to painting.Firstly,Guo's paintings have both Chinese painting and impressionistic elements.So he analyzes guo's concept of painting.Secondly,the most representative characteristic of impressionism is the use of color,which is also the most representative feature of guo's paintings.By comparing the analysis of impressionism and Guo's works,it is concluded that the color mode of guo's taste is an impressionistic element.Thirdly,the innovation is Guo Weiqu across the limitation of the theory and practice,breaking the boundaries between Chinese and western painting,and free from the shackles of traditional low bearing,break the successful performance of a layer of estrangement between pictures.The innovation of contemporary flower and bird painting has a certain artistic value.
