As the origin of the world's dramatic form, ancient Greek plays have a lasting and far-reaching impact on the development of the entire Western civilization.Tracing the source, ancient Greek plays have a very close connection with the Bacchus ritual. The earliest link between the ancient Greek drama and the Dionysian cult was Aristotle, which also raised the age-old problem for later generations of anthropologists: how the Bacchus rituals gave birth to ancient Greek plays, and how plays were reflected Bacchus ritual factors? Throughout the ages, numerous researchers have conducted indepth discussions on this issue. This paper draws on the research results of the previous generation of scholars represented by the "Cambridge School",and combines ancient Greek theatre works to attempt to explore the above from the perspective of religion and anthropology. In order to make a more in-depth analysis of the simple Greek worldview.First of all,the birth and prevalence of Bacchus rituals is a way of human understanding of the world, that is,the product of the transformation from "witchcraft" to "religion".Dionysus was an ancient Greek god.He had always been on the edge until the development of the democratic movement. As the god of vegetation represented by the common people, the Dionysus gradually entered the Olympus Mountains and became the 12 th Lord God,Bacchanalia. It became popular in ancient Greece. In the conversion of Bacchus rituals to dramas, religious rituals first possessed aesthetic characteristics. Then, they were associated with social politics and human desires.People participating in various aspects of Bacchanal rituals gradually emerged from religious ceremonies and became the actors of the play. The ancient Greek tragedies arising from religious ceremonies, while retaining the elements of primitive rituals, also reflect the simple worldview of the ancient Greek people. The tragedy was developed as part of Dionysus' s sacrificial ritual by the Dionysian hymn.Among them, the messenger, the song team and the elements of sacrifice are all kept in tragedy performances and become an indispensable and important episode. From there,we can get a glimpse of the moderation spirit of the Greek city-state and absolute obedience to God.Unlike tragedy, comedy mainly reflects the secular nature of the Dionysian cult.It is more closely related to the political status quo of the city-state and people's daily life.Whether it is the process of Bacchus entering the city,or the song of the carnival in the reproductive worship.,have become the comedy writer's vivid plot,in the Bacchanal Festival,Dionysus represents the power of "Chang Yue" and the carnival atmosphere created to give the comedy writer full of inspiration, but also for us to understand the ancient The political environment and social atmosphere of the Greek city-state provide a reference. In general, although tragedy and comedy originated from the imitation of Bacchus rituals, two completely different forms of the drama derive from the dual definition of "human nature".Therefore,if we want to truly understand ancient Greek drama, the study of Dionysus is necessary.
