"Germination Series"-"Return To Nature" In Modernist Painting

For more than one hundred years,it brought us unprecedented material civilization because of the development of industrial civilization,the progress of science and technology and the unprecedented convenience of information.At the same time,we also paid a bitter price,namely,environmental pollution and information pollution.At the end of the 19 th century and the beginning of the 20 th century,with the production and the development of modern art,the concept and the form of art has presented diversified pattern in which the important and influential part is "Return to nature".Artists express their pursuit to the nature through the creation form of art,they dig in observation and comprehension natural inspiration,explore the relationship between human and nature in the artistic creation.This thesis based on the concept and phenomenon of "return to nature" in the modernism painting,and further explored the forms to return to the original nature in modern painting,and to seek spiritual liberation through the study of master and conform to the theme paintings,In this kind of art form,the elements of surrealism often appear,which is an alternative expression of the visual art in the irrational,the avoidance,the illusion and the self-liberation.Following this trend,the author further explored the form language and creation style in the painting road.The "germination" series is the painting practice for this theme.In this practice,to balance the basic visual elements of the picture and to understand the formal language of painting is its main task,and to explore more possibilities of painting expression is a higher goal.
