A Study Of Dufu' Poems' Acception Between Northern Song Dynasty And Southern Song Dynasty

The Jingkang Incident and collapse of the Northerm Song Dynasty were important turming points in the history of the Song Dynasty.Drastic changes like that also profoundly influenced the evolution of literature in the Song Dynasty.Du Fu was a great poet who received considerable attention in the Song Dynasty,whose experience of drifting and migration in the background of dramatic changes at that time were generally leant and followed by various poets in the northern song dynasty and southern song dynasty,among whom there were Chen Yuyi,Lv Benzhong,Zengji and other poets with remarkable achievements.Some advocated the spirit of Du Fu,some thought highly of the art of Du Fu's works and others imitated the syntax and style in Du's poems.Although there have been many researches on the aceeptance of Du Fu's poems in the Song Dynasty in the academic circles,special studies on acceptance of Du Fu between the northern song dynasty and southern song dynasty have been hardly found.In this paper,the author,on the basis of previous studies,takes the acceptance of Du Fu's poems at the time between the Northern Song Dynasty and Southern Song Dynasty as the research object and tries to comprehensively sort out the situation of learning Du Fu in terms of poetics and poetry creation and continuously deepens the study of the history of learning Du Fu's poems.In addition to introduction,the paper is divided into four chapters,whose specific content is as follows.The first chapter is mainly an introduction of the academic background of the acceptance of Du Fu's poems in the period between the Northern Song Dynasty and Southern Song Dynasty.In the early and middle stage of the Northern Song Dynasty,Du Fu transited from the edge of the poetry circles to a central status and many significant poets jointly pushed Du Fu to the respectful and influential position in the process of promoting the maturation of poems with Song style.Besides,the maturation of the engraving and printing in Song Dynasty provided a technical premise for the large number of editions of Du Fu's poems and the collection of the anthology of Du Fu,s works also provided the text for its edition.Finally,high-quality annotated Du Fu,s poerms which came out between the Northern Song Dynasty and Southern Song Dynasty provided ways and shortcuts for poets to understand and learn Du Fu's poems.The second chapter is mainly an analysis on the acceptance of Du Fu's poems in the field of poetics between the Northern Song Dynasty and Southern Song Dynasty.Su Shi and Huang Tingjian's views on Du Fu's poems were regarded as a pioneer in the poetic theory in the period.The views on Du Fu's poems were mainly focused on poetry talks between the Northern Song Dynasty and Southerm Song Dynasty,among which such terms as epitomizer and loyalty to righteousness promoted the establishment of Du Shi's exemplary status between the Northern SongDynasty and Southern Song Dynasty.The third chapter is a discussion on the overall acceptance of Du Fu's poems during the Northern Song Dynasty and Southern Song Dynasty with researches carried out on poet's acceptance of the artistic creation techniques,the spirit of loyalty and the poetic style of depression in Du Fu's poems.The fourth chapter is mainly an introduction of the case studies of poets learning Du Fu the Northern Song Dynasty and Southerm Song Dynasty,where two great poets,Chen Yuyi and Lv Benzhong,are selected as the focus of study to discuss changes of their poetry composition,focus of attention on Du Fu's poetry and direction of learming after the Song Dynasty moved south,In a word,the acceptance of Du Fu between the Northern Song Dynasty and Southern Song Dynasty was actually the learning,respecting and worshiping of him in a specific historical period,which not only cearried distinct characteristics of the times,but also embodied important research value.It helps to deepen the study of the history of acceptance of Du Fu,s poems,but also contributes to the studies of the development of poetry between the Northern Song Dynasty and Southern Song Dynasty,with the double meaning of the history of learning Du Fu's poems and poetry.
