Study On The Ethical Issues Of Gene Editing Technology

The successful deciphering of the genetic code has finally led mankind to open fog of God's instructions and destiny,and gradually understand the decisive role of "genes" in human genetic traits.Not only that,as people growing understanding of disease,the human has begun to realize that the occurrence of many diseases are closely related to gene.Therefore,the constant exploration of pathogenic genes has become a major issue in the field of life science.In recent years,the breakthrough of gene editing technology has undoubtedly opened up a broad prospect for the treatment of genetic diseases.In particular,the use of CRISPR-Cas9 technology to edit early human embryos can be used to modify the pathogenic genes in the embryo to achieve the goal of curing disease at the source.At the same time,however,there has been controversy over whether technological research has spanned a limited area of ethics,inherent security risks of technology itself,conflicts of rights among generations,human dignity or social equity.The purpose of this paper is to analyze the deep-seated causes of problems and controversies on the basis of summarizing ethical issues and controversies caused by embryo gene editing techniques.For example,if development of technology and understanding of morality are out of sync,it difficult for us to catch up with the rapid development of technology;The divisiveness of technological values at the same time as we expect the infinite expectation that technology brings has to endure its "side-effects";However,abuses and alienation of technology also seem to hide the crisis of human development.Coexisting with the problems is the strong transformation demand of the embryonic gene editing and the huge development potential that drives the technology forward.Coexisting with the problem is the inevitable development of technology,because of the strong transformation demand and great development potential of embryonic gene editing,therefore,the focus of attention is on how to properly solve problems and disputes.While following the principle of bioethical self-legislation,it is of great and far-reaching significance to positively control the risks in technological development,constrain and supervise the behaviors of responsible parties,and establish and perfect a good social and legal environment.The main structure of the article is divided into five parts: the first part is the introduction,which introduces the purpose and significance of the research,the current research status at domestic and overseas,as well as the writing method and innovation of the article.The second part is the theoretical basis and theoretical premise of the thesis,and the related concepts,development status and trend of embryo gene editing technology.The third part introduces ethical problems and disputes caused by the embryo gene editing technology.The fourth part expounds the causes of disputes and problems,and analyzes the reasons why the development of Technology is inevitable.The fifth part analyzes the principles of life ethics which should be followed and puts forward the concrete measures to settle a matter.
