"Polonaise",also known as "Polish Dance"or "Polonaise Double",originated from the court dance of the Polish aristocrats,is solemn and noble. This genre had been used by Bach,Weber and other composers, but all were relatively short pieces. The classical Polish dance is generally a magnificent medium speed dance. But in Chopin's Polish dances, they were basically marked as solemn Allegro Maestoso.Although Polish dance is a three-part musical structure,Chopin expanded and extended the structure of classical Polish dance using the multi trilogy structure. There was a unique contrast in the middle segment, the beats were usually three beats and 16 afterwards. He retained the title of the classical Polish dance and the basic form of the dance, and added a new artistic style, which made the dance not only limited to court dance, but also had a strong emotion of patriotism. He used a single piece of work to play out the musical characteristics of the symphony and made Polish dance a piano symphonic poem to express ode and tribute to the motherland.
