It has been more than a hundred years since the violin was introduced into China in the late Qing Dynasty. In 1919,Li Siguang's "Difficulties in Roads" and Xiao Youmei's "String Quartet in D Major" opened the curtain for the creation of Chinese violin works. The path of the integration of violin art and opera art is difficult and tortuous, and it has also been controversial.Generation after generation of artists continue to explore and innovate.Rooted in the fertile soil of traditional operas, they draw on nourishment and create many outstanding works. In these works, many operatic lyrics and tunes are used for reference and fusion, which not only demonstrates the characteristics of violin's delicate tone, pure sound, and expressiveness, but also reflects the national temperament, style and charm of the work.By analyzing the representative works of the fusion of violin and opera music,it also provides a theoretical basis for advancing the nationalization of Chinese violin works. The full text is divided into four parts to discuss:The first part introduces the purpose, meaning and domestic research status of the topic, and summarizes the related knowledge about opera and opera music. The second part mainly introduces two aspects. One is the origin of the stories of "Butterfly Lovers" and "Wang Zhaojun",and the second is the background of the violin concerto "Butterfly Lovers" and "Wang Zhaojun".The third part focuses on the musical elements of the two concertos, focusing on the two concertos.Musical and harmonic languages are roughly analyzed and elaborated.Secondly, the use of musical elements in opera and the reference of national musical instruments are summarized. The fourth part is mainly based on the analysis of the innovation points of two violin concertos.Suggestions and Prospects for the Development of Chinese Violin Music in the Future.
