Judgment of learning refers to the prediction about the future performance of learned materials.Facial attractiveness is the aesthetic evaluation of human face.Judgment of learning for high and low attractive faces shows that the judgment of learning for low attractiveness faces is higher than that of middle and high attractiveness faces,but the accuracy is relatively low.However,it is not clear whether the attractive faces as priming stimuli can affect the Judgment of learning for neutral target stimulation.On the basis of the judgment of learning paradigm,this study includes the priming procedure.3 studies,5 experiments are made to explore whether the attractiveness of the face affects the judgment of learning for neutral target words.The Study 1 contains 1 experiment to test whether there are significant differences for 40 words in judgment of learning and recall performance under no face attractiveness priming.It excludes the attributes of the word itself and affects the judgment of learning the subjects.At the same time,the results of Experiment 1 were used as a control to explore whether there is a stable change in the judgement of learning the attractive faces.The Study 2 included two experiments with 2a and 2b,which used the attractive face as priming stimuli,and judged beauty(2a)and affection(2b)for face at unlimited time,and explored the influence of the outward appearance of the face attraction on the judgment of learning and the memory performance.In Study 3,the face attractiveness was automatically processed by changing the way of judging the face,that is,the implicit gender judgment(3a)and the subliminal initiation(3b)were used to investigate whether the attractiveness of the face would affect the memory and memory performance of the Judgment of learning.The main results of the above study are as follows:1)There was no significant difference in judgment of learning and recall between individuals with unattractive faces.It indicates that material screening is reasonable,and its properties will not interfere with subsequent experiments.2)Both the explicit and implicit priming of the face,the judgment of learning and the memory performance of the subjects were significantly higher than those of the highly attractive face under the start of the low attractive face.It shows that the influence of face attractiveness on learning judgment is not due to the change of the way of face processing.This effect is stable.3)Compared with the face no priming condition,the subjects were more valuable in the study judgment,but the memory performance were worse than those without the face.However,when the face attractiveness is implicit,there is no difference between the judgment of learning and recall performance of subjects.It shows that there is no stability in individual learning judgment and recall performance whether there is face attractiveness.
