Demonstrate The Practice Of Ancient Chinese Portrait Sculpture

In ancient China,statues were mostly used to shape gods and buddha,or made for burial objects.There were few cases of sculpting portraits of real people in real life.Most of them were buddhist statues,including statues of the famous monks and the providers,also a small part of the portrait of emperor and the deified figure.Although china is a long-history country and vast in territory,make the style of portraits is different.How ancient Chinese people made their way to close to the nature seem to be the same in essence.This made Chinese sculpture unique style and appearance.This paper try to analyze the practice of ancient Chinese sculpture,to show the inherent spirit of Chinese sculpture.
