Research On Chen Hexi's Oil Painting Language

As the soul of oil painting,oil painting art language covers color,space,composition,texture,light and shade and lines,not only that,but also oil painting techniques and oil painting materials.This paper mainly analyzes the oil painting art language of Chen Hexi,one of the representative figures of landscape oil painting in China.From the perspective of brushwork,color,composition and background color in-depth interpretation.As a typical representative of Chinese landscape oil painting,Chen Hexi not only has rich artistic language and unique composition ability,but also has the oil painting language characteristics formed by studying Chinese seal cutting and Chinese painting.His works are based on nature,mostly depicting pastoral scenery,characters are simple peasant image.After 46 years of painting creation,formed the present Chen language,in the art of language show not only has the Chinese freehand brushwork in traditional Chinese landscape interest,but also its traditional oil painting thick and warm.This is not only the love on the tip of the pen,but also the active and vivid embodiment of Chen Hexi as a responsible artist in the exploration of oil painting nationalization.This article affirms his unique contribution to the development of Chinese oil painting through his research on the art language of Chen Hexi's oil painting and his interpretation of his paintings.This article is divided into six chapters.The first chapter introduces the current state,purpose,significance,and research methods of Chen Hexi's oil painting art language.The second chapter introduces the artistic achievements of Chen Hexi.Chen Hexi is not only a teacher but also one of the representatives of the Southern Oil Painting Landscape School.With his own unique insights,he combined traditional Chinese painting with western oil painting techniques and gave birth to new styles.The third chapter analyzes the foundation of the artistic language of Chen Hexi's oil painting,including Chen Hexi's early work practices such as the blackboard and newspapers,the strict realistic training in the university,the creation of a comic strip for ten years,and how to change to the landscape oil painting creation in all stages.The fourth chapter analyzes the main features of the formal language in Chen Hexi's oil painting art,mainly from four aspects: first is the aesthetic embodiment of the composition form,Chen Hexi is good at using the square composition,and the picture has a prominent center point.The second is the characteristic of color.The images of Chen and Xi's works have a flat and colorful effect,and they have unique features in color language.The three background color painting techniques,mainly from the monochrome background color,multi-color background color,color background color.Finally,the characteristics of Chen Hexi's brushwork are analyzed.The fifth chapter mainly expounds the value orientation of Chen Hexi's oil painting art language,points out the originality of Chen Hexi's oil painting language content and skills,introduces Chen Hexi's integration of Chinese and western in oil painting and the influence of sketch and creation on contemporary oil painting.The sixth chapter elaborates the influence of the artistic language of Chen Hexi's oil painting on the author's creation and practice,and is divided into aspects of composition,color language expression,and reference on material techniques.This paper mainly uses the methods of iconology,literature review and interview to analyze Chen Hexi's works and aesthetic ideas comprehensively,to interpret Chen Hexi's oil painting art language.The innovation of this paper lies in the emphasis on the interview method,which makes a new interpretation of the artistic language of Chen Hexi's oil painting and analyzes the development status of Chen Hexi's oil painting artistic language.Because Chen Hexi's oil painting language enriches the content of Chinese art,which is of great significance to contemporary art creation,it is worth our in-depth study.
