Study On The Legends About Baogong In Anhui Province

Bao Zheng is known for his official reputation as being honest,upright,and skeptical.He is also deeply loved by the people because of his diligent love and compassion for the people.Even today,his legends and anecdotes are widely circulated in his hometown.Based on Baogong legend in Anhui area of Baogong's hometown,this article uses a combination of type research methods,literature research methods and field investigations to conduct research and has certain academic value and social value.Bao Gong legends in Anhui are numerous and rich in contents,involving various stages of his life,such as his birth,growth,service and death.Begins with the family background and life history of Bao Gong,this paper explores the relationship between Baogong and Anhui Province,and collects and arranges the geographical distribution of Bao Gong legend by means of literature research and field investigation.According to the main contents of the legends,71 collected pieces of Anhui Baogong legends are classified into five themes and sixty-nine types by using the method of type induction of folklore.Then using the basic theory of folk literature and legendary methods,this paper gives an in-depth analysis of the narrative characteristics and implication of the oral language in the legend of Baogong in Anhui.Finally,this paper analyzes the work done by Anhui local government for the construction of Baogong culture in Anhui province,and the important role played by the Baogong legend in the development of the Baogong cultural resources.
