The issue of human migration has always been a concern for the archaeology, especially in the prehistory period, due to the lack of directly evidence it is hard to define local and non-local people. As the development of science and technology, more and more methods have been introduced to archaeology, strontium isotope analysis provide a new view to solve human migration issue.Analyzing animal and human enamel strontium isotope,to define local value for recognizing local and non-local people. The major research object is Jiaojia site in the middle and late Dawenkou culture period, defining local and non-local people through strontium isotope analysis.Discuss human migration under hierarchical tomb, gender and age.It starts from human migration and communication, trying to analyze social stratification. There are six parts in this paper.Part 1:Introduction.This part will explain the reasons and significance of this study, and introduce strontium isotope analysis preliminary.Expounding the feasibility and importance to select Jiaojia and Dawenkou sites from materials and geology.Part 2:Theory framework. This part will list related literature review to explain strontium isotope analysis theory. It mainly consists of two parts:international studies and China.Part 3:Sample selection and laboratory analysis.According to Jiaojia site characteristics and the purpose of this study we set up a series of standards to select sample. And then I will tell the specific experimental process during the processing and testing phase of the samplePart 4:Preliminary local values and data analysis. This part will establish local values preliminary from Jiaojia and Dawenkou sites data,as well as analyze Jiaojia site human data by statistical methods.Part 5:Analysis and discussion.Firstly, comparing Jiaojia and Dawenkou sites with other site which tested strontium isotope analysis in China. It aims at summarized characteristic and regular pattern.Secondly, defining the local values to determine the non-local people. Finally, discussing the human migration under hierarchical tomb, gender and age,and trying to propose the place where non-local people might come.Part 6:Conclusion.Summarizing the research results and problems obtained in this paper, and puts forward the prospects for future research.
