A Study Of Tibetan Buddhism In Shaan'xi Province

Shaan'xi Province is the main birthplace of Chinese civilization and an important inheritance of Chinese Buddhism.Six of the eight Buddhist sects of Han Buddhism came from Shaan'xi Province.For a long time,the study of Shaan'xi Province Han Chuan Buddhism by academic circles is indeed a lot of stuff.Since the introduction of Tibetan Buddhism into the Mainland from the Yuan Dynasty,Shaan'xi Province has been affected by it.Since the Yuan Dynasty,Tibetan Buddhism has continued to spread and develop in Shaan'xi Province and has become an important branch of the Buddhist in Shaan'xi Province.However,the study of Tibetan Buddhism in Shaan'xi Province is still centered on the research of Guangren Temple.After the Song Dynasty,Shaan'xi Province,although it lost its political center and economic center,it still played an important role in in running the western region and connecting with the western minorities.After the Yuan Dynasty,as Tibet was under the jurisdiction of the Central Government and in addition to the support and beliefs of the rulers,Tibetan Buddhism spread in the mainland.A large number of Tibetan Buddhist monks traveled between Tibet and the mainland,and exchanges between Tibetan and Chinese Buddhism continued to strengthen.In this paper,with the rise of Tibetan Buddhism and its transmission as the guide,with the spread of Tibetan Buddhism in Shaan'xi Province after Yuan as the main line.It combs the history and status of communication of the spread of Tibetan Buddhism in Shaan'xi Province in the Yuan,Ming and Qing,the Republic of China and contemporary several different periods.The spread of Tibetan Buddhism in Yuan dynasty mainly depended on the implementation of rulers.During the Ming dynasty,Shaan'xi Province had already had Tibetan Buddhist monk activities,and Tibetan Buddhism had also spread among the people to some extent.The Qing emperor Kangxi ordered the Guangren Temple to be built,and the development of Tibetan Buddhism in Shaan'xi Province entered a new historical stage,and Guangren Temple became a part of Shaan'xi Province Buddhist.During the Republic of China,wars were frequent,and the Sino-Tibetan Buddhism exchanges reached a climax.Since the founding of New China,Shaan'xi Province Tibetan Buddhism has been developing in a positive way and has become an important branch of Shaan'xi Province Buddhism culture.
