The Agitation Between Tradition And Modernity On The Cultural Values Of Jia Pingwa’s Local Novels

This article mainly takes the folkness as an observation point,and discusses the cultural values of Jia Pingwa’s local novels in different periods of its creation from the aspects of the stirring of tradition and modernity.The text consists of six parts: introduction,text and conclusion.The first chapter mainly discusses Jia Pingwa’s cultural values in the 1970 s and 1980 s through Jia Pingwa’s early local novels,including the Shangzhou series,“Floaters”,“Full Moon”,and “Pre-Sui Yue Ben”.status.Under the background of reform and opening up in the 1980 s,when Jia Pingwa first entered the literary arena,he was still in the idea of writing.He did not have his own unique values,but instead used novels as a breakthrough point to respond to the society formed by the society at that time.Yearning for the era of the era of rural exclusion.The second chapter mainly discusses Jia Pingwa’s cultural ideology under the background of Jia Pingwa’s mid-term rural novels,including Tu Men series novels such as “Tu Men”,“Gao Lao Zhuang” and “Qin Qiang”.The state of presentation and changes fluctuate.At the turn of the century,what Jia Pingwa displayed in his novels at this time was mostly skeptical and vigilant about the city.He believed that many things in the tradition need to be preserved,and the past criticism has now been missed.The third chapter mainly discusses Jia Pingwa’s local novels since the 21 th century,including "The Ancient Furnace","Let’s Bring Lights","Old Life" and "Ultra Flowers" to discuss the cultural value of Jia Pingwa’s recent novels.In the new century,due to the anti-tradition of the May 4th enlightenment,Jia Pingwa caused rootless modernity and showed a critique of modernity.On the other hand,many untimely parts of the tradition hindered the development of modern times,and thus traditionally established itself.Without it,the spirit has nothing to depend on,and enters the void of value,that is,the absence of value.The content of the fourth chapter is to combine Jia Pingwa’s major local novels and his own life experience to explore Jia Pingwa’s cultural values.The chapter mainly elaborates on the characteristics of cultural values,the reasons for their formation,and their significance in the contemporary era.The conclusion part mainly summarizes the focus of this article.Jia Pingwa stood on the folk stand and described the agitation between traditional culture and modern culture through folk custom culture,folk life difficulties,and folk narrative methods.The Jiaping depression of the new century entered a cultural dilemma.Jia Pingwa only has to break through the predicament of cultural values in order to achieve a higher level in his creation.
