"Wolf Totem" is a book with ecological literature meaning in the Inner Mongolian Prairie,since the book has been the United States,Britain,Australia,Germany,France,Italy,Japan,South Korea,Russia,Spain and other more than 30 countries translated books,best-selling domestic and foreign,to Goldblatt's English version is particularly famous.The translator Iming Ais Ahmatjan also translated this much-read literary work into a Uyghur version.Once published,there is a craze for reading and research between readers and scholars in the field of Chinese-Uyghur translation studies,This paper attempts to analyze the adaptation and selection of translator Iming Ais Ahmatjan in Translating “Wolf Totem” from the three translation methods of the theory of ecological translation,that is the transformation from language dimension,culture dimension and communication dimension.This paper mainly introduces the formation background of "Eco-Translatology",the basic theory and the guiding role of translation research and translation strategies,and emphasizing that “Eco-Translatology” can make up for some deficiencies of traditional translation studies,and discuss the "three-dimensional" conversion in the Uyghur translation of "Wolf Totem" under the theory of “Eco-Translatology”,and analyze the "Wolf Totem" in Uyghur translation strategy in the dimension translation is embodied in the "three-dimensional" transformation level.
