Study On Extraterritorial Poetry In Late Qing Dynasty

The Qing Dynasty's dream of being Celestial Empire was ended by the failure of First Opium War in 1840.The barrier of complacent and conservative thought which lasted thousand of years was also broken up at that time.The signing of the unequal treaties and opening of treaty ports aggravate the degree of Chinese decolonization,in additon,it also gradually opened the door of Chinese people to the world.In order to save the country,a large number of enlightened people began to seek the truth outside the region,seek the path of national salvation.Extraterritorial poetry in late Qing Dynasty was the product of this historical context.The thesis consists of three parts: introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction part clarifies the concept and connotation of the poetry in the late Qing Dynasty.On the basis of summarizing the research status of foreign text in the late Qing Dynasty,it expounds the lack of research on poetry in the late Qing Dynasty.The text is divided into four chapters.In the first three chapters,the author classifies the poems according to the actual status of the author,in-depth analysis of the foreign poetry works by diplomatic officer,exiles and citizens.The major historical events in the late Qing Dynasty are the nodes.Pay attention to the cognitive changes of the poets in the outside world from superficial to deep and from the perspective,and combine their identities.The emphasis is on the different focus of the poetry writers on the outside world in different writing perspectives.In the exchange collision between Chinese and foreign cultures,extraterritorial poetry in late Qing Dynasty had provided a boost for the eastward transmission of western sciences.Chapter four analyzes the artistic features of the poetry in the late Qing Dynasty.It starts with the foreignization of poetic style in the late Qing Dynasty,the addition of language materials,and the internal relation of the poetic revolution,to explore the innovation of poetic writers in the creation of poetry in the experience of exotic experiences.
