| The polyhedron of history is full of the complexity of the development of things,and the fate of a person is often the epitome of an era.On January 1,1979,China and the United States finally broke off three decades of isolation and established diplomatic relations.With the wave of "reform and opening up",china-us exchanges have entered a new era.Wang Xiaolan,an Chinese American dancer that has deep feeling for her motherland,also opened up a Sino-US dance exchange in China for 40 years at that time.In the past 40 years,she has made remarkable achievements in the history of Sino-US dance exchange.This paper takes the Chinese American dancer as the research object,combs her life experience that she actively promoted Sino-US dance exchange,and expounds the main communication projects achieved in each period,in order to provide practical inspiration for the future development of Sino-US dance exchange.This paper is divided into three chapters.The first chapter discusses the reasons and motivations of Wang Xiaolan's opening of Sino-us exchanges,and elaborates her “crosscultural” identity and the advantages conferred by the growth environment.The second chapter comb her achievements in 1980 s to the early 21 st century dance exchange events,and use a large number of oral history and literature,try to restore the overall appearance of historical events.The third chapter is based on historical facts,and analyzes its exchange views,and analyzes its influence as a bridge builder.Wang Xiaolan's dance life is intertwined with Sino-US dance exchange and they mutually achieve each other.She has always been adhering to the concept of rooting in China and embracing the world,practicing the pursuit of real art in the exchange,and building a bridge of friendship in the Pacific Ocean.She made us realize that only by seeking out Chinese culture with modernity and seeking common ground while reserving differences in foreign exchange can we get real communication. |
