An Analysis On String Quartets Of Henryk Mikolaj Górecki

Henryk Mikolaj Górecki(1933-2010),who was born in Katowice,is one of the most famous comtemporary composers and music educator in Poland.The resurgence of music style after 1970s,almost everyone was interested in its simplified and meditative musical style deeply.Based on the three string quartets,which were composed throughout the life,fully reflect the composer's contracted music language,the connotation of religious spirit,and the love for traditional folk music.This is the main concern of the writer to explore composers' personal style.This thesis consists of an introduction,the first part,the second part,the third part and the conclusion.The introduction part tries to justify the present research approach by telling the maining of this project,overseas and domestic research status as well as research method.The first part summarizes Górecki's life background,his experience of growth,learning,and the evolution of his music style.The part Two is concentrated at compositions background.The third part concretely expounds the characteristics of Górecki's composing technique and the personal style.From the rhythm,pitch,harmony,tone and other aspects of the analysis and the creation of the srummary.
