A Comparative Study Of Jia Daqun's Two String Quartets

Jia Daqun is a famous contemporary Chinese composer,theoretician and educator.Over the years,he has devoted himself to the study of music creation,modern composition techniques and music theory analysis methods,and has continuously explored the fusion of Western modern composition techniques and traditional Chinese culture.He put forward: "The concept of'dichotomy' and 'three-division','structure alignment' and 'multiple structure'" of music structure,both in micro and macro aspects,for music innovation and theoretical research,there is a certain Promotion.His "First String Quartet-YuanJi" won the "12th IRINO Chamber Music International Composition Competition" award in Japan in 1991.After many years,he completed the "Second String Quartet-YunQi" in 2016 and premiered on March 24,2019.This paper takes Jia Daqun's two string quartets as the main research object,analyzes and reveals the formation process and formation results of the composer's construction of the formal logic of music structure,and the evolution of the techniques and styles of composers in different creative periods.
