The Application Of Xinjiang Folk Arts And Crafts In Modern Oil Painting

Elements in folk arts and crafts originated in Xinjiang Uygur Automonmous Region were applied by oil painters in their artistic creation,which bring out special language of art expression and promote development and innovation in the content and forms of oil painting.This thesis,on the basis of arts modeling and color of folk arts and crafts in Xinjiang,focuses the research on the application of folk arts and crafts in modern oil painting creation.This thesis consists of four chapters: The first chapter gives the introduction to the reasons and significance of the topic,analyzes the research status at home and abroad as well as the research method,the practical significance of this thesis.The second chapter makes a general exposition of folk arts and crafts in Xinjiang by analyzing and researching the classification and characteristics of folk arts and crafts in Xinjiang.The third chapter specifically analyzes that some oil painters are using elements taken from folk arts and crafts in Xinjiang to create oil paintings by being shared a few characteristics like concision,decorative function and abstract concepts in the folk arts and crafts as well as the decorative and symbolic function of colors of folk arts and crafts.Forming unique artistic style and reflecting aesthetic connotation and artistic value of these oil paintings.The fourth chapter expounds the significance of elements of folk arts and crafts in modern oil painting.The purpose of this thesis is to apply the aesthetic value of elements taken from folk arts and crafts to modern oil paintings so as to to promote the development of modern oil painting in contents and forms,to reflect the personalities of present oil painters,broaden the horizon of oil painting and enrich cultural essence of oil painting in China.
