Research On The Creation Of Documentary In The Transformation Of Ancient Villages In Northwest China

In 2012,in the "Northern China Village Cultural Heritage Protection Work Forum",Feng Jicai revealed an astonishing number: In the 10 years between 2000 and2010,China disappeared 900,000 villages.This cognition directly led to the Chinese government to start a comprehensive combination of ministries of traditional village protection projects.Since then,the creation of documentary about the display and protection of ancient villages has increased precipitously,including 100 episodes of the series of documentary "Chinese Ancient Village",60 episodes of documentary series "Explore the most beautiful ancient villages in Shandong" and so on.No matter from the quality of the material,the form of expression,the impact and so on,all aspects are greatly exceeded before.The root cause of the disappearance of the village is development.Rapid development,rapid urbanization,a large number of rural people go to work in cities,the village becomes more and more empty.In the northwest of China,especially in the Ningxia-Gan-shan region,apart from the social development factors,more by the driving of perennial drought,land salinization and other natural ecological deterioration,villagers left the countryside to enter the city.Compared with other rural populations who just pursuit for development,those people has stronger relocation willingness and thoroughness.Therefore,personal graduation works intends to start from the perspective of characterization and depicting the environment from the side to reveal the villager’s psychological state,those who live in the biggest rise and fall development node since the ancient village was built.A parallel narrative of a generation who has experienced the prosperity of the ancient village to a slump,and a new generation of young people who carries the banner of change,to look at the village’s background through the details and explore the past,present and future of this ancient village.This article intends to combining with my individual graduation works start fromexpressive techniques and expression patterns,discussing the creation of documentary about the transition of ancient villages in Northwest China.The first part of the article try to clarifies the concept of ancient villages and its current situation.It also gives a brief overview of the documentaries about ancient villages and Yongtai,and analyzes its current status.In the second part,starting from the expressive techniques and expression patterns of the documentary,the article analyzes some important points of the documentary creation about the transition of ancient villages in Northwest China.In the third part,through the description of individual works,analyzes and summarizes the creative tactics of this type of documentary,then proposed some personal reflections and hope to provide some references for the creation and research of ancient village documentaries in Northwest China.
