Video game refers to the interactive entertainment that depends on a certain game software,which players can follow the instruction to make it.Although game in most parents and teachers mind is be derelict in duty and run irrelevant business.But recently,research has found that video games have positive effects.As a new way of entertainment,it integrates many technologies,knowledge and disciplines.It has certain effect on developing human intelligence and exercising the ability of eye,ear,hand and brain.Secondly,many studies compared the psychological rotation ability,spatial attention allocation ability,cognitive flexibility,reaction speed and hand eye coordination ability of video game players and non players,then found that players were generally higher than those of non players.On the basis of previous studies,male participants in the pre-study were selected,and eye movement technology was used to test the difference of attention allocation ability between players and non players.Results showed that:(1)Video game players and non players have significant differences in trial fix total,as the number of game player's fixation points was significantly lower than the non game players;(2)Video game players and non players have significant differences in current fix duration point had,performance for the game player's fix duration was significantly lower than the non game player.And on this basis,in order to explore the game player in the ability of attention allocation is significantly higher than the non game players,and non game players game whether the training can improve their ability of attention allocation,this study is divided into the first study and the second study.The first study analysis the eye movement data of participants which have different sex in CS game,to examine whether there has difference in attention allocation,and then use the attention distribution scale to further verification.The experimental results showed:(1)Game players and non game player's ability of attention distribution have significant difference,and game player's distribution of attention ability is higher than the non game player's.(2)Regardless of male subjects and female subjects,the eye movement data are displayed that game players in the distribution of attention ability were higher than the non game player.(3)After testing the attention distribution scale of all subjects,found that there is a significant difference of score between game players and the non game players in the scale,and there is a high correlation between them.The second study in order to further prove that CS game can really improve the ability of attention distribution rather than the attention distribution ability of the subjects themselves,choose non game players for game training.The attention distribution scale was selected according to the criteria of the first study,and the participants with low attention distribution ability were selected.Then considering the prevalence of game addiction among college students,the game addiction questionnaire was added into the pre-test,and people who were not easy to be addicted were trained.The subjects were randomly assigned to the training group and the control group,and then randomly assigned to different levels of training,after the attention distribution of the post test results showed that:(1)Male and female subjects of experimental group scores are better than the control group;(2)According to the male subjects,control group and experimental group had no significant difference,but in different levels of training shows significant difference;(3)For female subjects are on the contrary,performance significant differences in the control group and the experimental group,but no significant differences between the different levels of training.(4)Short time game training can reduce the gender differences in spatial cognition.In summary,this study found that the game players and non game players in the ability of attention distribution on the existence of differences,the differences between the subjects in the male and female subjects are reflected in the game,but in the training,male subjects and female subjects after the game training shows different effects,this means there are differences between men and women in spatial cognitive ability,on the other hand,from the perspective of the game,the male has a more extensive game experience,this experience will migrate to other types of games.In addition,the study found that women were obtained more ability in spatial cognition than male subjects after short time game training.
