A Study On Aba Tibetan Jiarong Guozhuang

There exists an artistic form of folk singing and dancing favored by the Tibetans of Jiarong—Jianrong Guozhuang e The religious historical culture and custom in Jiarong Tibetan area have a unique value for research on Jiarong Guozhuang.Cultural background could be uncovered through Guozhuang music,including production mode,habits and customs,aesthetic taste and musical value.In the 21st century,Jianrong Guozhuang is placed at stake as the pace of life accelerates.It brings us to rethinking that the marginalized Jiarong Guozhuang should be inherited and protected,facing challenges positively to keep pace with times.As the young generation of literary and art workers in Jiarong Tibetan area,we should to a certain extent commit ourselves to the protection,inheritance and development of Jiarong Guozhuang.Known as the First Guozhuang and the most representative in Jiarong Guozhuang.Manai Guozhuang prevails in Aba Tibetan areas,becoming one of the oldest and most popular folk singing and dancing,with a history of more than a thousand years.The original 200 songs in Manai Guozhuang,widely used by Jiarong Tibetan people in weddings and funerals,house buildings,plantation and harvest,ended in only about 100 to this day after recovering from "Destroy the Four Olds"during Cultural Revolution.In 2008,Manai Guozhuang was included in the protection catalogue of National Intangible Cultural Heritage.This thesis presents a detailed exposition on the background,origin,development of Jiarong Guozhuan and the cultural source,classification,music structural form,social function,protection,inheritance and development of Manai Guozhuang by adopting site observation,literature review,folk songs collecting and interviewing.Through a careful analytical investigation on Jiarong Guozhuang and the case study of Manai Guozhuang,the author intends to comprehend profoundly the mysterious history and unique artistic style of Jianrong Guozhuang,to excavate,protect and promote this intangible cultural heritage in a most appropriate way,and to reveal its charm to a great more people.
