This article takes the composer Zhou Xianglin’s masterpiece,"Zha Nian —— for the Guzheng and Orchestra" as the research object,from the material of music,orchestration skills,harmony,tones distribution,musical form,and ancient Guzheng playing skills.Detailed analysis,and learn from Zhou Xianglin’s composing techniques.This article consists of four chapters.The first chapter introduces the composer Zhou Xianglin and his composing ideas.The second chapter briefly introduces the characteristics of musical instruments and Tibetan music.The third chapter analyzes the works of Zha Nian in details from the music material.The fourth chapter mainly analyzes the composing skills of Zha Nian.
