An Exploration Of Composing Plucked String Ensemble Work Based On The Performance Of "Xiang Opera:A Song For Lovesickness"

Combining my own creative practice,this article deeply analyzes the works and explores the creation of plucked string ensemble through personal experiences in the creation of plucked string ensemble "Xiang Opera:a Song for lovesickness".This article takes traditional Xiang opera in southern Fujian as the starting point,combining the operas with plucked string ensemble,and elaborates the respective characteristics of the two art forms.It aims to develop and enrich the form of plucked string ensemble,through the combination of the two operas,and promote the outstanding traditional music culture in China,so that more people can know and understand Xiang opera.Based on plucked string ensemble "Xiang Opera:a Song for lovesickness".Adaptation and creation of the work establishes expression form of plucked string ensemble and the basic style of the work.The composition analysis of the work is performed from setting of tune,performance of Xiang opera’s aria in the plucked string ensemble,origin of work creation and embellishment of the percussion music.The work is moderately adapted and created under the sadness tone of original version.The whole opera is divided into three sections to express the changes of emotion,which makes the work more delicate and richer and have a feeling of ups and downs.Finally,combining background of the work and the comprehension during the process of composing,this article expounds personal experience of plucked string ensemble "Xiang Opera:a Song for lovesickness",and provides a certain reference and experience for creation and exploration of related themes in the future.
