On Wang Gen's Interpretation Of The Great Learning

Wang Gen is one of the core figures in the secularization of the thought of Confucian Xin Sect in the middle and late Ming Dynesty.This paper centers on Wang Gen's interpretation of The Great Learning to study Wang Gen's thought in his late years.Based on the former studies,this paper discusses Wang Gen's interpretation of The Great Learning in detail.Firstly,this paper generally depicts a learning and thinking history of Wang Gen.Then,this paper studies his interpretation of 'the three doctrines',especially dig in the proportion of'to harmonize the body is to stop at the final good'.Then I discuss the practical theory in Wang Gen's interpretation of The Great Learning by the order of 'the eight items'.At last,I make a primary conclusion of Wang Gen's thought in his late years and make a position for it in the history of Chinese philosophy.
