Research On The Evolution Of Lv Bu's Image

Lv Bu,the famous general in the late Eastern Han Dynasty,whose historical prototype is so different from the literary image.Lv Bu in the History of the Three Kingdoms of the Western Jin Dynasty was a ‘Fei jiang'and he was so cunning in dynasty of the late Han Dynasty.The notes of the Three Kingdoms made by the Pei Songzhi in the Southern Dynasties preserved and added to Lv Bu's many experiences such as princely battles,character dialogues,and so on.The History of the Later Han Dynasty weakened the negative performance of Lv Bu on the basis of the "Three Kingdoms" and the "notes of the Three Kingdoms",and the image of Lv Bu in the later historical records are also fixed in "The Later Han Dynasty".The "General Reflection for Political Administration" of the Song Dynasty," The contents of Lv Bu's historical records,such as the "Tong Jian Gang mu" and "Tong Jian Ji Shi Ben Mo",are also basically taken from the description of "The Later Han Dynasty." The "San Guo Zhi Ping Hua" and the drama in the Yuan Dynasty strengthened Lv Bu's description of martial arts,and also shaped Lv Bu as a man of infatuation.During this period,Lv Bu was also presented in the drama text with the image of both civil and military.The "Romance of the Three Kingdoms",which was born at the end of the Yuan Dynasty and the early Ming Dynasty,relied on the "Three Kingdoms" and the notes of Pei Songzhi.It borrowed from the narration of Lv Bu in the Pinghua and the Yuan Drama and mixed it with folk legends.Lv Bu became a terrible man who is "Recursively forgetting righteousness,brave and fool".After Mao Lun and his son criticized the Romance of the Three Kingdoms in the Qing Dynasty,the image of Lv Bu became more and more negative.This article is mainly divided into four parts:The first chapter combs the image of Lv Bu in history.The second chapter analyzes the evolutionary trajectory of Lv Bu's image in poetries of Tang and Song dynasty,The Pingguo of Three Kingdoms,Drama of Yuan Dynasty and Romance of the Three Kingdoms.The third chapter makes a case study of two important parts of Lv Bu's image formation,which is the image of "recognize talents and not encounter" in the drama "Lv Bu's Sigh for Heroes" and the image of Lv Bu in the evolution of the "Lian huan" story.The fourth chapter makes use of the existing materials to make a reasonable analysis of the changes of the image of Lv Bu,and tries to find out the causes of its evolution.
