"Digital storytelling" is a way of presenting stories in many forms,such as pictures,words,video and audio.This new teaching method is widely used in various disciplines.This study combines the advantages of "digital storytelling" with the Chinese culture course of foreign students,and explores the application of "digital storytelling" in the Chinese culture course for foreign students.This study,taking the Mid Autumn Festival in Chinese culture class as an example,shows the teaching content by using the "digital storytelling" in the classroom and focuses on making "digital stories" and sharing the "digital story" centered on the cultural experience of the Mid Autumn Festival.In this study,the methods of literature analysis,classroom observation and interview are used to analyze the effect of "digital storytelling" on the teaching of Chinese culture in foreign students.The research shows that the "digital storytelling" can improve the students' interest in the study of Chinese culture,let the students experience the cultural knowledge in life,deepen the understanding of culture,and improve the efficiency of the teaching of cultural courses.At the same time,this study also provides a reference for foreign students in teaching Chinese culture.As a new teaching method,"digital storytelling" needs to be well prepared in the classroom.First of all,the author consulted a large number of relevant information to enrich the theoretical support.Secondly,teaching design is carried out according to the specific teaching situation.Finally,apply teaching practice and record in time to form a case.It is divided into five parts in the paper.The first part is to explain the background and significance of the research on the basis of fully consulting the relevant literature,the domestic and foreign research review and research methods,and the research goals.The second part is the concept of "digital storytelling",the theoretical basis applied to the Chinese culture course of foreign students,and the introduction of the process of making the "digital stories" in this study.The third part is the teaching design of the application of the "Mid AutumnFestival" as an example of "digital storytelling".First,it analyzes the necessity and feasibility of applying it to the Chinese culture course of foreign students from three aspects of Chinese culture,foreign students and "digital storytelling".Secondly,proceed from the characteristics of teaching objectives and teaching objects,carry out detailed teaching design.Finally,the "digital stories" produced by the teachers and the "digital stories" produced by foreign students are displayed,focusing on the analysis of two foreign students cases.The fourth part is the application effect analysis and the proposed teaching suggestions.From the perspective of the foreign students and teachers,the effect of the "digital storytelling" in the Chinese culture course of the foreign students is analyzed.The fifth part is the concluding part,summarizing the research results and shortcomings of this research.
