Miyazaki Hayao is a Japanese producer of animated movie whose compositions cross national borders and be loved with audience of all age group around the world.His compositions gain outstanding box office receipts,in the meantime,they helped Miyazaki Hayao acquire many international awards and therefore he become one of most significant force of Japanese animation industry.His animated feature films were highly entertaining and commercial,but the true value is it has artistry as well as ideological quality.Also the films were endowed with profound ideological implication,they change people's inherent impression of animated movie that the main audiences are teenager and the subject is always shallow.Miyazaki Hayao give variety of theme and subject in his compositions,the frame he painted in his films is natural and vivid.In addition,we can find there's a wonder world with its own independent system in each film.Miyazaki Hayao expresses his main idea through animated movie,and the idea comes from multiaspect.The reflect on himself,the whole society or history could become the starting point of theme creation,and this kind of thinking transformation is affective thinking turn to rational thinking.The composer will be influenced by his subjective mentality during transformation,and the subjective mentality is influenced by subjectivity.Subjectivity based on animation director's demand to regard and treat object,meanwhile it's only suitable for the property and relationship which fit in his own demand.Animated movies take director's demand as fundamental,transformed subjective mentality to animation to express his creation idea,design characters,scenes,plots and story to build the whole framework.This thesis takes eleven Miyazaki Hayao's animated feature films as content of research,starts with subjective expression,combine personal life experience with creation's social background and related literature to analyze the visual setting,so that we can understand what influence these aspects make in creation.Nowadays,Computer Generated Animation is the main trend in the world,but Miyazaki Hayao still insists to use freehand sketching for creating animation,he uses the most nature language and color to portray these fantastic stories in wonder world,even he also tried and thought CG animation.His every animated feature films contain several theme elements which include Miyazaki Hayao's profound attention on society and social issue.We can find every fantastic scene has relation to realistic world,more or less,it is established in reality and it drawn its materials from real life.I hope it could be helpful for modern animated movies though summarizing his subjective expression and creative train of thought.
