This article will analysis the anti-war ideology and antianthropocentrism implications obtained from Miyazaki’s films based on the outlook of war; it also points out Miyazaki’s steadfast stance on wars, his introspection of militarism, his ambivalent consciousness of responsibility, and his rejection of Just-wars. This article will also analyze the causes of Miyazaki’s anti-war ideology based on Miyazaki’s personal experiences and the impact from the environment in Japan just after World War II, in order to proclaim the significance of his anti-war ideology demonstrated in his films – his concerns about the double-faced modern civilization and his shout on the return of nature and innocence. The connotations of humanistic and futurism in Miyazaki’s films inspire us in the twenty-first century during the process of looking for solutions of the dilemmas in spite of the eco-system, resources and wars.
