With the widespread use of information technology and the popularity of electronic devices such as computers,educational informatization has swept the world.It has become an inevitable requirement also a trend for education reform.So the blended learning mode that combines online learning with classroom learning is increasingly emerging and gradually respected under this great background.The diverse learning environment,diverse learning styles and mixed learning theories are put into practice especially in colleges.The evaluation method is the base to carry out all teaching activities and the guarantee to improve the teaching and learning effects.However,researchers at home and abroad have not comprehensively studied it in blended teaching mode.So the aim of this study is to improve the quality of English teaching and students' English learning level as well as the evaluation system under the blended learning mode.The sophomore students of non-English majors entered Shandong Normal University in 2016 were selected as survey subjects in this study,including 150 surveyed subjects and 4 interviewees.First of all,the researcher found that the inadequacies of the traditional assessment by retrieving documents Shandong Normal University from 2012 to 2014 contained three aspects: the emphasis of the results instead of process,the evaluation of a single subject and the inhibition of students' creativity and autonomy.Then based on the extensive collection of reference materials and the support of humanistic learning theory and socio-cultural theory,the researcher conducted a questionnaire and interview survey on the learning situation of the learners in the blended learning mode.The research mainly proceeded from five dimensions,including online learning,class learning,teacher-student interaction,methods of evaluation and learning experience.According to the survey,we conclude the findings as follows: students have positive attitude,clear motivation,multiple learning styles,tendency to net-interaction and high degree of learning experience,which indicated that learners can better adapt to this mode.In view of the shortcomings of the traditional evaluation methods and the current situation of learners in blended learning mode,this study explored the perfection of the multiple evaluation methods in the college English blended learning mode from the perspective of students.The author divided the evaluation system into three categories: participation evaluation(evaluation of online participation and classroom participation),subject evaluation(teacher evaluation,peer evaluation and self-evaluation)and electronic portfolio evaluation.What's more,each category was divided and explained based on survey results.This paper made an active exploration of the multiple evaluation system under the blended teaching mode through the investigations.It can make learners understand objectively their learning situation,stimulate interest and motivation in learning,develop autonomy,creativity and critical thinking and improve learning efficiency;it can make teachers improve teaching quality and effectiveness and promote the development of harmonious teacher-student relationship;it can improve the evaluation system and provide meaningful reference for the smooth development of blended teaching.All in all,the researcher hopes to provide a new perspective to innovate and improve the evaluation system.
