The Media Practice Of '85 Art Thought

'85 Art Thought is an avant-garde trend of modern art thought which had used different kinds of media.Among these trends,the “wave of reason” is called the most influential one.The “Northern Art Group” is the most “rational” group.This paper chooses the “wave of reason” as the entry point,examines the context of this historical text and explores in the level of diachronic and synchronic.This paper also chooses '85 Art Thought as the origin point and traces back to the concept of “rational painting” of how to construct its legitimacy through the media activities of four levels—parties,publications,letters and seminars.In parallel to the existing data,not only do we analyze how the “wave of reason” dominated the struggle for discourse through diffusive dissemination,but also pay more attention to Gao Minglu,who was promoted as the leading role of “the wave of reason” of 85 th Art Thought.When we look back to the 10 th,20th and 30 th anniversary of the 85 th Art Thought,the “wave of reason” is no longer spreaded as the dominant position in history,what changes have taken place of its existence and influence? How the “wave of reason” has been dissolved and reconstructed into a greater torrent of history?...
