Dynamic assessment is a collective term for a series of evaluation methods for exploring and discovering learners' potential development abilities.In the evaluation process,this method measures the variability of individual cognitive functions through the interaction of evaluators and learners,thereby predicting their development potential and providing intermediary assistance for their further development.However,the evaluation method of middle school English writing teaching in China is dominated by summative testing,which measured personal ability is one-sided.It only shows the individual's acquired knowledge and technical level of problem solving.The individual's development potential cannot be detected.Aiming to explore the teaching mode of English writing in middle schools.,this thesis is based on research at home and abroad,trying to apply the dynamic assessment to the English writing class in middle schools,mainly to explore the following issues:(1)What positive influence does the application of dynamic assessment in junior high school English writing teaching have on students?(2)How does the application of dynamic assessment affect junior high school students' English writing performance?This study takes the eighth grade students of Luohe Foreign Language junior high school as the research object,and uses interviews,questionnaires,and test methods to study the application effects of the dynamic assessment.The research data show that:(1)The use of dynamic assessment in junior high school English writing teaching can have a positive impact on students' English writing,including the following aspects: First,students' enthusiasm for classroom participation in teaching is improved.Second,it enhances the self-confidence of communication and interaction between students and teachers.Thirdly,students' initiative to participate in discussions and feedback is improved,students' interest in English writing is improved,and students are encouraged to develop good English writing habits.This prompted positive changes in students' attitudes toward writing in English.(3)Before and after the test,the application of the dynamic assessment is positively correlated with the students' English writing performance,and the students' English writing scores are significantly improved.This thesis consists of five parts.The first chapter is the introduction part,which outlines the entire study,including the research background,research significance,research objectives and the structure of the thesis.The second chapter is the literature review,which mainly summarizes the theoretical basis of the research.The third part is the research design and research methods,which mainly include research questions,research objects,research methods,and research procedures.The fourth chapter is the data analysis and discussion.It is the core chapter of this research.It mainly includes data analysis and discussion.The fifth chapter is the conclusion of the research,which mainly summarizes the research,including the main research findings,the enlightenment of the research,the limitations of the research and suggestions for future research.
