Based on the national standards of music and dance major 's teaching quality(2018 edition),and Wu Han Sport University's Dance Performance specialty in 2013.Combined with the social requirement about the talent of dance performance.Starting from the current situation of jazz dance curriculum teaching outline,combining teaching theory and other relevant theories.By means of checking the literature,interviewing,questionnaire investigation,observed investigation and so on.Comparing with the syllabus of WuHan?ChenDu?TianJin and HeBei sports university,Combining with experts' suggestions of jazz dance courses.The Jazz Dance course could be optimized comprehensively in the aspect as follows:1.Several problems exist in the first 2013 edition of Jazz Dance course syllabus: definition of the course is not clear;proposal of the course is not comprehensive enough;the teaching of theory course is weak and the content of technical teaching is not systemic;the form of assessment is lack of canonical technique test standard.2.Based on the talent nurture scheme,nine items in five parts of the Jazz Dance course has been studied around the course definition,the course proposal,the course property,the course hours and points,the arrangement of teaching,the content of teaching and the assessment ways.3.The optimization consists of these concrete content: perfect the course definition;the theory teaching is added 2 and the skill teaching is modified based on the traditional Jazz Dance basic training;put in the impromptu dance training to enhance the ability of dance creation;make the grading standard normalization.4.Expert in dance performance feedback good after evaluating the syllabus optimized.Moreover,the syllabus suit the aim and the requirement of talent training scheme in Wu Han Sport University dance performance major.Summarizing the optimization idea : emphasizing the training program of professional talents in dance performance is the policy paper of Jazz Dance course syllabus;The comparative study of similar courses is an effective reference for optimizing the construction and improvement of Jazz Dance course syllabus;Teaching practice is the test method to optimize the course property and knowledge points of Jazz Dance course syllabus;The interview survey is a necessary method to optimize the course property and knowledge points of Jazz Dance course syllabus.
