A Study On The Ear Cup Of The Warring States Qin And Han Dynasties

Ear cups produced in the Spring and Autumn Period on the occasion of the ancient Chinese diet culture is an important part.Ear cup development process,the number,distribution,decoration and other aspects of continuous change.On the basis of collecting a large number of archaeological materials and combining with historical documents,this paper examines the contents of ear cups in appeals and inscriptions,changes in decoration,relationship with ceremony and dissemination and development.Specifically divided into three major themes:ear cup appellation numerous and have certain rules;continuous set of ear cups decoration and ceremony related to the continuous evolution;along with the Silk Road in Han Dynasty,the ear cup spread abroad and have an impact on foreign diet utensils.The study of the development of the ear cup is helpful to explore the concrete process of interaction between cultures.During the period of the Warring states period and the period of the Wei and Jin dynasties,the spread of the ear cup was expanding,and with the spread of the silk road to the central Asian region,combined with the local culture,the Sogdian mugand the Sassoon Cup were produced.At present,academia has not yet formed "complete knowledge" about the development of ear cups,which needs to be comprehensively and systematically combed,integrated and discussed.Although the ear cup is small,it can reflect the traditional Chinese culture of etiquette.
