Analysis On YuHua’s Prose Creation

As one of the most important writers in contemporary China,YuHua,who has created a series of influential works.And he is more known as a "novelist",in fact,YuHua not only focuses on the writing of novels,but also works on prose creation.To date,YuHua has published a series of prose works.They were the journey of warmth and feeling,no road is repeated,China in ten words,literature or music.Compared with the blockbuster novel research,the discussion of his prose is rather quiet.These essays are the reflection of YuHua’s mind and the expression of the construction of subjectivity,which is an important part of YuHua’s literary creation.For the whole study of YuHua,it is incomplete to focus on the creation of the novel and ignore the meaning and value of the prose creation.The study of YuHua’s prose is not only to enhance attention to the neglected part of YuHua’s creation,but also to find out the unexpressed contents in his novels.Only by combining the two can we feel the "most beautiful harmony" of YuHua’s creation.Therefore,the thesis takes YuHua’s prose as the research object,and tries to analyze its ideological content and artistic value,so as to have a more comprehensive and systematic understanding of YuHua’s research.The thesis is divided into four chapters.The first chapter consists of two parts called "Fall into a memory trap"and "Rediscover the freedom of writing in experience".It mainly analyzes the changes of YuHua’s creative ideas.Taking the issue of authenticity about literature as the starting point,to clarify the different understandings of YuHua in various stages.The second chapter of the research object is the literary criticism articles in his prose.It mainly focuses on the criticism of novels and music,which reflects his keen observation and strong comprehension.His attention to the works and music narration process and narrative technique,his vivid and poetic language expression,and his consciousness of literary history permeated with his criticism have become the trademark features of YuHua’s literary criticism.The third chapter mainly analyzes YuHua’s memories of hometown life and childhood experiences.Different from the violence and death scenes presented in the novel,YuHua’s prose presents a warm,concise and humorous character.In this kind of prose,we can see the childhood of the rest of the world,seeing his growth,seeing the memories of his hometown and having a profound effect on his literary creation.The fourth chapter mainly analyzes the attention and criticism of YuHua’s essays on social issues.He takes an intellectual’s unique reflection and critical consciousness,travels through history and reality,reveals the social ills,and finds the root of the problem.Finally,the conclusion part mainly discusses the value and deficiency of YuHua’s prose.YuHua inherited the consciousness and critical spirit of LuXun’s introspection,which made his prose strong critical and reflective.YuHua’s prose has greatly enriched his literary creation in theory,language and narrative technique,and has become an indispensable part of his overall creation.At the same time,YuHua’s prose is also a problem of fiction creation and lack of independence.Based on the outstanding quality of YuHua’s works in the past,we expect him to present more good works to us.
