Realism And Returning To Hometown:Two Aesthetic Dimensions Of Henan Local Prose Since The 1990s

Since the 1990s,native prose has diversified characteristics in terms of connotation and aesthetics,showing two different aesthetic dimensions of realism and original construction.The realism corresponds to the transfer of Chinese society to the modern transformation service.This kind of local prose inherits and develops the prose writing tradition of the“May 4^th”period,which reflects the strong social intervention consciousness and the writer's mission consciousness.Zhou Tongbin's local prose is based on his own foothold in Nanyang,Henan Province.He has made an in-depth description of life and humanity.He writes a spiritual implication that originated in a specific historical period and expresses a specific social human content and moral concept.The origin of the hometown is not the pastoralization,but a transcendental vision to entrust the strong nostalgia of the people in the social transformation period.Feng Jie's prose strives to build a common spiritual hometown of humanity and resist the ills brought about by industrial civilization with the simple outlook on life and aesthetics of the country.Although these two dimensions of local prose writing adopt different methods in the construction of the local world,but for the real representation of the local realm or the ideal reconstruction,the writers consciously assume the responsibility of cultural spiritual reconstruction and explore the root cause of national spirit to build a spiritual home for the modern people.The local prose in the 1990s built a unique aesthetic and aesthetic connotation on this basis.This thesis takes Zhou Tongbin and Feng Jie's local prose as the research object.Firstly,it summarizes the general situation of the development of local prose.It includes the background of the generation of local prose,the rheology and the context of the development of Henan local prose.As a native prose writer in Henan,Zhou Tongbin and Feng Jie's local prose writing was produced under the background of the local color of the entire Central Plains writing.Through combing and comparison,it is not difficult to find that the local prose since the 1990s has a diversified aesthetic in terms of aesthetics.The local world has become the carrier of the writer's emotion and spirit and thus has symbolicity.Secondly,under the perspective of comparative literature,Zhou Tongbin and Feng Jie are different in the creation of local prose:also as a local prose writer,in the description of the native land and the exploration of the national spirit the essays of Zhou Tongbin and Feng Jie are presented in different creative features.In the description of the village,Zhou Tongbin's prose reproduces the style of Nanyang City and Feng Jie's prose is devoted to constructing the“Northern Central Plains”,making it the original mythological existence;in the exploration of the national spirit,Zhou Tongbin witnessed the change of the native land as a“president”and explored the national culture from the cultural field born in the longevity of Sis.Feng Jie's prose focuses on the restoration of rural memories and finds the source of national spirit from those forgotten rural worlds.Finally,from the perspective of the literary and prose changes,the different aesthetic characteristics of Zhou Feng's two essays are explored:Zhou Tongbin's prose focuses on realism and writing history,so the prose shows a strong sense of reality and a heavy sense of history;Feng Jie's prose will have childhood experience in spiritualization and artisry,depicting a pure“hometown”and establishing a spiritual fortress in order to resist the contemporary cultural reality of material desire expansion and value misconduct and experience truth,goodness and beauty from the harmony between man and nature.Since the new period,the local prose has presented a new look,mainly manifested by the return of individual consciousness,the consciousness of cultural consciousness and the enhancement of rational consciousness.Zhou Tongbin and Feng Jie's prose creation came into being under the background and presented distinctive features.First of all,the writing of the two has a distinct aesthetic orientation under the consciousness of subjective consciousness;Secondly,their local writing is serial,creating a rich artistic space;In the end,their respective creations form a symbolic meaning,which forms a style aesthetic.
