The expression of mechanical elements in art is an important part of the traditional and contemporary art.The use of this form can reflect the broad industrial social landscape,and can show the people's state of thought under the new era of the times.In recent years,there are many examples of successful use of mechanical elements in the artistic creation.The performance of mechanical elements in painting,sculpture,architecture,design and installation art can better show the contemporaneity of art.On this basis,the article reviews and studies the classical expression of mechanical elements in European art practice in twentieth Century,in order to sum up the law of its form.First,by defining and defining the concept of mechanical elements and defining the meaning of time,the article defines the two basic components of modern art and post-modern art,and further discusses them.In the research content this article from cubism,Dadaism,pop art,minimalism composed between art movement or genre,for important genre or artist does not involve mechanical elements to avoid.Through analyzing and discussing the typical paintings and sculptures of typical artists such as these schools or movements,we will further build a complete and continuous history of development and change of mechanical elements.Finally,the paper summarizes the changing characteristics of mechanical elements in the development of modern and post-modern art,and summarizes its unique connotation as an artistic symbol for the development of art.
