Entering China's 'Theatre Festival' In The 'Industrialization' Age

Since the new century,with the continuous development of our country's cultural industry,as one of the core parts of the cultural industry,drama,with its distinctive art form,quickly moves close to the needs of the market and the audience.On the basis of high-speed industrialization,drama art has gradually moved from the elite to the public,becoming a major hot spot in the cultural market,and even the emergence of"IP dramas." At the same time,various types of drama festivals have been developed in exponential term,including both the official "cultural projects" and the cultural events promoted by private capital.Studying China's "Theatre Festival" in the age of"industrialization" requires that we first clarify what kind of drama festival is truly an activity with industrialized development strength,industrialized operation mode,and industrialization influence.As one of the most influential drama festivals in China,Wuzhen Theatre Festival has been successfully held for five sessions.It can take both market operation and artistic quality into full play.Based on the study and analysis of Wuzhen Theatre Festival's operation mode,organizational structure,composition of the repertoire,artistic characteristics and social influence,etc,this article seeks to think about how drama festivals should become a part of the dramatic cultural industry,effectively promote the great development of the theatrical industry,and how to create a world-class theatrical festival.This paper is composed of two parts.The first part is the introduction.It introduces the research background and significance,literature review,research methods and research framework.The second part is the text,divided into five chapters.The second,third,and fourth chapters take Wuzhen Theatre Festival as an example to analyze,and mainly study the operation modes of Wuzhen Theatre Festival,the quality of theatrical arts,and the phenomenon of industrial integration of cultural tourism,to explore the success reasons and model experiences of Wuzhen Theatre Festival.The fifth chapter analyzes in depth the problems in the development of Wuzhen Theatre Festival in industrialization and puts forward my own suggestions,discusses how to further explore China's cultural resources,and build a world-class theater festival to promote the industrialization of drama in China.
