Liu Yong was an important poet in the Northern Song Dynasty of China.He had made important contributions to the development of Song Ci.Because of the existing records about Liu Yong are scarce and fragmented,his life story can not be accurately verified.Fortunately,the realisticness and sense of space of Liu Yong's Ci are very obvious,which makes it possible to examine Liu Yong's Ci from a spatial perspective.This thesis takes Liu Yong's Collection of Music as the research object,and focuses on the relationship between space and text.The goal of this thesis is to analyze the geographical space of Liu Yong's Ci and to clarify the relationship between the creation of Liu Yong's Ci and geographical space.Using the literature review method and combining geography method to verify and sort out the geographic space created by Liu Yong's Ci.We can find that the main creation sites of Liu Yong's Ci are concentrated in the areas of Bianjing,Huaichu and Wuyue,which is correspond with the known traces of Liu Yong.On this basis,we will further explore the geographical space of the text of Liu Yong's Ci.Liu Yong often uses the typical spatial elements to construct the space and outline the typical space with concise expression.Quilts and pillows,curtains,smoke,boats,lanterns,streets,and so on are all typical spatial elements that appear frequently in Liu Yong's Ci.These typical spatial elements play an important role in space creation and expression of emotions.We should pay sufficient attention on them.The geographical space of the text of Liu Yong's Ci shows distinctive personal characteristics due to the author's emotional tendency.The space of Bianjing is the space with the highest frequency and most abundant meaning of Liu Yong's Ci,bearing Liu Yong's attachment to capital and longing for a stable life.Liu Yong used to be an official in the area of Wu and Yue.In his writing,he praised the Jiangnan Water Village and his feelings about the prosperity and decline of history.Due to the unique scenery and the sad cultural background of autumn,Huaichu space appears the characteristic of miserable and desolate.Guanlong space shows the desolation of Liu Yong's disillusionment.The space involved in Liu Yong's Ci is a diversified space,and the construction mode of time and space is also diverse.Liu Yong often transforms space according to the shift of sight,the movement of the whereabouts,the extension of thinking,and combination.So that it can achieve a effect of natural transition and clear arrangement.The method of orderly transformation of diverse spaces not only broadened the subject matter of the expression of Ci,but also developed the narrative mode of Ci,which also had an important influence on later poets.Later poets often learn from Liu Yong,and make Ci a further development based on Liu Yong's poems,which makes the spatial variation of poems more complicated:To analysis Liu Yong's Ci from the perspective of literary geography can supplement the study of Liu Yong's Ci from a spatial perspective.This has important implications for us to understand Liu Yong and to explore the relationship between text and space.
