A Study On Xi Han Nian Ji By Wang Yizhi

Xi Han Nian Ji is one of the representative historical works of Wang Yizhi,a scholar of theSouthern Song dynasty.It has thirty chapters,selection from Shi Ji and Han Shu,Han ji,History AsA Mirror,and reorganized all the historical data in chronological order,the content is very wide.Thebook is divided into three distinct parts:main body,Jian Lun,Kao Yi.Between three parts,Kao yiis the essence of the book,take an examination of all aspects of text,historical facts,institutional,geography,and studies every details on the history of the Western Han dynasty.It not only has animportant meaning for the development on the study of Han Shu,but also play an important role inhistorical research.The paper is based on the point-printed edition of Xi Han Nian Ji which wasprinted by Zhongzhou Ancient Books Publishing House in the 1993 and studies on the version styleand content of Xi Han Nian Ji and collates some valuable items,then summarizing the achievementsand shortages,and in order to fill the current research on Xi Han Nian Ji.
