The eliciting monosyllabic verb is a subcategory under the category of modern Chinese verbs. It is divided according to the semantics. It means that the actor's actions through a certain action cause a certain degree of influence on the subject. This dissertation focuses on the study of single-syllable verbs in the modern Chinese language.Eight tumult verbs in accordance with the definition are selected:?(xian)??(jie)??(liao)??(qiao)??(luo)??(xuan)??(lu)??(rang). In this thesis, these eight verbs are taken as the main research object, and an exhaustive search is made according to the correlative arguments related to these eight verbs involved in the corpus. On this basis, the synchronic and diachronic descriptions are combined.Through comparative analysis, combined with the different content of its arguments, the complete meaning of each word is summarized and summed up,and the complete word sense evolution of the word is obtained. The thesis firstly introduces the current research status related to the up-and-down monosyllabic verbs as well as the source of the corpus, the research object, the research significance, the research method, the innovation and so on.Then sorting and summarizing all the relevant corpus collected, classifying the arguments involved in each verb on the diachronic level, starting from the original meaning, clarifying the order of the development of the verbs, and summarizing the extended rules of the word; These eight verbs are compared and analyzed at the synchronic level to explore the commonalities and characteristics of the development of their meanings,so as to obtain the development of the semantic meaning of the verbs in the same semantic field.Specifically, the representative words in the verb-like monosyllabic verb category,?(xian)and ?(luo),were taken as the object of study.Through the exhaustive search of the corpus, the meanings not included in the dictionary were found.Based on the argument analysis of this word collocation in the corpus,it summarizes and summarizes the collocations of the word arguments, analyzes its complete and correct word meanings, and summarizes the word meaning system of ?(xian)and ?(luo),and sorts out its meaning. The evolution path and law. Then, the following six verbs in the verb-like monosyllabic verbs,?(jie)??(liao)??(qiao)??(xuan)??(lu)??(rang)were studied.Based on correlative arguments of the corpus in the corpus, they were analyzed and summed up in terms of their dominance. The semantic categories of the subject arguments are summed up by their semantic features, and the rules of the evolution of their meanings are explored,so that we can more fully understand the characteristics of the type of liberation verbs. At last, the thesis analyzes the development and changes of the meanings of the verbs in the monosyllable verbs. The first is the influence of arguments on the semantic evolution of the monosyllabic verbs. The article compares and analyzes the verbs and the arguments of each subject to discuss the influence of different arguments on the development of word meaning. Then we discuss the evolution of the semantic meanings of the verb-like monosyllabic verbs, and derive the evolution model and the extension law of the semantic meanings of the monosyllabic verbs:the evolutionary pattern from the meaning of the hand movements to the speech movements and from the specific behavioral meanings. The law of abstraction of behavioral justice.
