Liu Xiang's book The New Order was compiled by Liu Xiang collected many ancient stories of the Pre-Qin period and historical materials of the Han Dynasty.The pre-Qin stories in The New Order also have similar records in other ancient books,and academic circles always have the saying that The New Order is A collection of historical stories.But there is hardly any research on the content classification of historical stories in The New Order and the similarities and differences between historical stories in different books and their artistic characteristics.Therefore,this paper is mainly to peruse the text of Liu Xiang's The New Order,using comparative analysis and a combination of literature and history,to explore the similarities and differences between similar stories in the “New Preface” and other books,as well as the stories and other documents of the pre-Qin period.Relations and the overall thought and artistic characteristics of the book The New Order.This dissertation mainly discusses the classification,ideological representation and artistic features of the pre-Qin stories in The New Order.The part of exordium is the introduction of the research object,including the analysis of the status quo of The New Order and the pre-Qin story concept,general situation,and research objectives included in The New Order.The first chapter divides the pre-Qin stories of The New Order into four major themes of the class,include the appointmen of adepts,persuade and admonish,moral integrity,and other categories cantains several sub-categories such as politics,Good plans,and Fu Rui catastrophe;the second chapter is mainly The comparison between The New Order and books of the similar pre-Qin stories,through the comparison of textual materials,the ideology of The New Order is mainly reflected in Confucianism's filial piety,rende,ritual music,moralization,agarian,faithfulness.Other thoughts such as Shang Xian,non-attack,and thrift of the Mohist philosophers,as well as legal scholars' rewards,Lao Zhuang's inaction etc.The third chapter mainly examines the artistic features of the pre-Qin stories in The New Order.Its artistic features include the “false” nature of the story,the diversity of ideology,the uniqueness of the structural relationship,and the multichapter recording of one person's tactics.The main artistic features present a colorful and colorful artistic appearance of The New Order.
