Study On The Multiple Meanings Of Tang Yin's Ladies Painting

This article is from the angle of the picture and poems with paintings,and from three aspects Tang Yin has contains in his ladies painting which are female consciousness,self-consciousness and historical consciousness,to further discuss which he contains in his paintings are his complex emotion towards traditional Chinese woman,the sadness about the fate of the self,the dissatisfaction with the reality of the dark society,and the understanding of the history and the fate of mankind.This paper is divided into four chapters,the first chapter is the study of the phenomenon about the combination of poetry and painting in Tang Yin's ladies painting,from chapter two to chapter four will respectively study the female consciousness,self-awareness and historical consciousness contained in his ladies painting.The thinking is as follows.The first chapter mainly elaborates the art of the combination of poetry and painting which contains in Tang Yin's ladies painting.This chapter begins with the similarities and differences of poetry and painting and come to the conclusion that poetry and painting are the same art that differ in the form but have the same core.That provided the premise and possibility of combining of poetry and painting.Moreover,from the manners and artistic effect which created by the combining of poetry and painting can further research the artistic characteristics which contains in Tang Yin's ladies painting.That characteristics provide a chance to read his deep thoughts towards female,ego and historical destiny.Chapter two mainly expounds female consciousness which he contains in his ladies painting.The ladies painting is an art of painting to show the beauty of women,this chapter starts with the attention to female subject and the recreation of typical female image,to show his unique inheritance and development to the traditional painting of beautiful woman.Secondly,trying to present his standpoint of female in the way of using narrative mode of female perspective and showing sincere feeling.He shows praise for appearance and character of female and sympathy for women's misery.Through two aspects,Tang Yin's female consciousness is reflected on his ladies painting.Chapter three is mainly expounds his self-awareness which he contains in his ladies painting.TangYin contains his living experience and emotion in the process of creating the beauty of female image,that makes the painting contains the generation of anger absurd injustice of gas.This chapter begins with four angles of regional characteristics,spirit of the time,living experience and his own character in order to comprehensive analyze why self-awareness can be created by humanistic background by the means of combining poetry and painting.Besides,starting from three aspects which are his positive spirt in adult,complain to the unfair society in the middle age,negative attitude toward world in old age to further analyze his self-awareness shows in his ladies painting.Chapter four mainly expounds historical consciousness he show in his ladies painting.Firstly,Tang Yin is adept in using visual allusions in his painting,the inspiration comes from tales of legendia and literary output.However,his use of literary quotation follows his idea instead of copying quotation exactly alike.That transformations not only are the expression of his emotion,but also contain his interaction with historical figures and female in the painting.What's more,the emotion he expresses in his ladies painting has broken the limitation of time and space in the use of visual allusions.It's not only a self pity for individual fate,but also are thoughts and introspection for human tragedy.It's not only the expression of personal life attitude,but also is a description for the spiritual state of the whole nation.Through the analysis above,this article illuminates the multiple meanings and rich connotations contain in Tang Yin's ladies painting by the art form of combining poetry and painting.That will provide specific angles and reference for the descendants to recognize Tang Yin's ladies painting.
