| In recent years,the progress of science and technology and teaching concept has promoted the integration of information technology and science curriculums.Furthermore,teaching resources or teaching modes are constantly upgrading.As a new-style teaching resource and teaching form,micro-lecture is provided with terse and forceful characteristics and is easy to learn flexibly and efficiently in fragmentary time,meeting the public psychology and the demand of the times,changing the traditional classroom teaching,so that more and more learners benefit from it.Micro-lecture can replace teachers and save a lot of time and energy for teachers,promoting student’s autonomous learning and personalized learning,making classroom teaching more flexible and efficient.The teaching modes based on micro-lectures have independent learning,mobile learning and fragmented learning,and provide new ideas and opportunities for research application and practice exploration of vocabulary teaching.Based on the situation analysis of vocabulary teaching and the demand demonstration of micro-lecture development,I have chosen the vocabulary teaching in secondary vocational school as the research area,focusing on the design and manufacture of micro-lectures on English vocabulary in secondary vocational school.My main work in this study is as follows.First,I have made a literature analysis on the definition and characteristics of micro-lecture,the development of micro-lecture at home and abroad,the study of vocabulary learning and related learning theories.After that,through the questionnaire survey and interview survey,I have conducted an investigation of vocabulary teaching situation on Class 1701 and Class 1702 of electronic commerce major and English teachers in Guangzhou Tianhe vocational senior high school,understanding the attitudes and opinions of students and teachers in secondary vocational school,providing some relevant bases for the design and development of micro-lectures.After identifying the topics of micro-lectures and completing the analysis of preliminary work,such as the analysis of the students,teaching contents and teaching objectives,I have carried out the teaching design of micro-lectures,including teaching plan design,self-learning task list design,teaching idea design and instructional media design.And then,I have carried out script design,video recording and video editing.Taking CHAPTER 5 Busy Lives as teaching contents,a series of vocabulary micro-lectures cases have been developed.Finally,based on the method of double group experimental design,I have taken Class 1701(experimental class,39 people)and Class 1702(control class,39 people)as experimental subjects,carring out Independent Samples Test on the results of vocabulary pre-test and post-test of two classes,conducting Paired Samples Test on the results of experimental class.The influence of micro-lecture teaching method and traditional teaching method on the student’s English achievement and learning interest are analyzed.Consequently,it is proved that the vocabulary micro-lectures can improve student’s vocabulary memory ability and application ability in secondary vocational school.At the same time,I have deepened understanding of classroom situation of vocabulary teaching through classroom observation method.I have analyzed the results of the students’ questionnaire and teachers’ interview feedback so that I can make the comprehensive evaluation of teaching effect of vocabulary micro-lectures.It is proved that the vocabulary micro-lectures can arouse the initiative of students in the secondary vocational school and improve the teaching level of teachers,and make up for the shortcomings of the traditional classroom teaching. |
