| Vocabulary is the foundation of language,and vocabulary teaching is an important part of English teaching.Secondary vocational students generally have a weak foundation in English,and have problems in English vocabulary learning,such as lack of interest,lack of autonomy and poor learning results.Secondary vocational teachers have the problem of simple and boring teaching methods in English vocabulary teaching,which is more unfavorable for secondary vocational students to learn English vocabulary.Therefore,secondary teachers urgently need to find a new teaching method to change the status of English vocabulary teaching.Micro-lecture is a new type of teaching resource and teaching form.It is short and concise with distinct theme and strong interactivity,which is conducive to attractive students’ attention.It can be used for online and offline learning,and can improve the utilization rate of fragmentation time for students and carry out personalized learning.The use of micro-lectures makes classroom teaching more efficient,and learning more convenient and flexible after class,which brings new opportunities to English vocabulary teaching in secondary vocational schools.Based on constructivism theory and audio-visual theory,this paper explores the application effects of micro-lectures in English vocabulary teaching in secondary vocational school.In order to verify the effectiveness of micro-lectures in English vocabulary teaching,the author chose 100 students from two classes of secondary vocational school in Shandong province as the experimental subjects and conducted a four-month teaching experiment.Before the experiment,the author used questionnaire survey and interview survey to understand the current situation of vocabulary learning of secondary vocational students and their views on the application of micro-lectures in vocabulary teaching.The results of vocabulary pretest of the two classes were compared and analyzed by SPSS 20.0 software to select the experimental class and the parallel class.During the experiment,the experimental class adopts the micro-lecture vocabulary teaching method to carry out vocabulary teaching,while the parallel class adopts the traditional vocabulary teaching method to carry out vocabulary teaching.After the experiment,the author collected experimental data through questionnaire survey,interview survey and vocabulary test.Through the comparison of questionnaire data and interview data before and after the experiment,it is proved that the application of micro-lectures in vocabulary teaching is helpful to improve the interest and autonomy of secondary vocational school students in learning English vocabulary.The author used SPSS 20.0 software to compare and analyze the vocabulary scores of students in the two classes after the experiment and the vocabulary scores of students in the experimental class before and after the experiment,and it is proved that the application of micro-lectures in vocabulary teaching is helpful to improve the students’ study results in learning English vocabulary.Finally,according to the research results,the corresponding teaching inspiration and suggestions for future research are given. |
