Paul Tirich as the important existentialist philosopher and theologian of German and American fusion tradition thinking, starting from the ontology of things he thought, brought many new perspective.Based on this,Tilich from the existence and non existence of the tension launched "that man is a thinking of limited freedom",and from the view of thinking to discuss the fall of man, alienation, anxiety and so on.After this,Tilich put forward a set of solutions to the concept of "transcendence" of their own.One of the purposes of Tillich is from the point of view of the actual situation to point out people and against the world extreme rationality under control, for his solution Although full of idealistic fantasy, but still does not affect its ideological space.According to the problems of human existence discussed by Thierry, this paper will consider and prove the value and limitation of his viewpoint in combination with the concrete works of art.As Tillich put it,anxiety and depravity are inevitable in human beings. This perspective helps to interpret modern art,but we can also see that since man is essentially degenerate,But this kind of situation does not appear in classical art, this is the extremely thought space discussion domain. The existential philosophy holds that the actual existence of human beings is a tragedy, obviously Tilich is not satisfied with this, but puts forward his solution.Faced with such a situation,Thierry proposed a transcendental solution, including "courage of existence","utopia","ultimate concern" and so on.Tillich's view of transcendence is directed to the affairs of the other shore, the courage to overcome despair, the confidence in the future, but on the other hand, this transcendental view of Tilich is a fusion. This fusion attempts to dispel the differences between one shore and the other, but also the seriousness and sublimityof the other shore,in the above existential theological language. In the context,Tillich puts forward his understanding of aesthetics. He believes that all cultural creation is the ultimate concern, which enhances the value of aesthetics and art.On the other hand,Tillich's attempt to eliminate secular and sacred differences is also a threat to art.All is sacred, which means that everything is secular, and then art loses its transcendence,so the seriousness, sublimity and sanctity of art also disappear. These ontological theological aesthetic thoughts are exactly what this study is devoted to.In general,Tillich thinks about all kinds of phenomena in life from an ontological point of view, both political participation and expectation, and religious worries and worries about the future. It was hard to say whether Tilich was more concerned with one shore or the other, and Tilich was serving it with the affairs of the other. As a result of history,it is normal that some of Tillich's ideas have not been realized. After all, there is a theological utopia in the idea of dominating today's pluralistic society. But to understand in an aesthetic sense,to experience the "depth" of life in art,and to realize the existence itself,is still beneficial to growth. To advance the understanding of man's mental situation. This is the reason why Tillich's thoughts still have explanatory significance. This study focuses on these meanings and hopes to provide an interpretation of the aesthetic dimension for the study of Tillich's thought.
