Study Of "Sunyata" From Diamond Sutra

Thought of "sunyata" in Buddhism is also the core of diamond sutra,first shown as"without person"in India Original Buddhism.The founder of Buddhism,Gautama Buddha presented the meaning of sunyata by practicing himself and educating his disciples.Lots of monks and stylite kept translating the sutra,Zhao Ming Crown prince in Liang Dynasty divided it into several sections after the disciples recorded the sutra.Then diaond sutra became popular in China.The core of diamond sutra is "breaking" and "born without its heart".Break everything including the presentation of myself,people and mind.Then break the insist of the breaking everything.At last,people still need to depend on something..In this paper,I analyse and expose the thought of "sunyata" in diamond sutra and its performance in the dharma,practice.To be able to grasp the main idea of diamond sulra.To elucidate the thought of "sunyata" in diamond sutra,I used several parts to explain it,which includes the origin and the presentation of "sunyata".The origin of the "sunyata" includes"Dependent Origination".The presentation of "sunyata" includes three parts,the "sunyata" of breaking,the "sunyata" of breaking the insistence of breaking and "sunyata" is not empty.Though the main idea of Diamond Sutra is "sunyata",for the living people,knowing the essence of the world is "sunyata" is not that important.The most important thing is better living after knowing the truth.Not desire the real world is not equaling to deny the whole world,many people will have this kind of misunderstanding.After that,I will discuss its influence on the Platform Sutra and Zen,Zen inherits the thoughts of "without representation","Dependent Origination" and "born without its heart",develops thoughts of"apart from all the representation","without thinking,without representation,without existence"and"see myself '.At last,I will discuss several problems during the history on the the thought of"sunyata"theory in diamond sutra,which explains the question that Diamond Sutra emphasis on "breaking",but not give people something to grasp.That people will easily fall into the misunderstanding of "breaking everything".Though we need to achieve that result,we also need to "embrace all".This point is similar to "a living body with an opening mind"in Confucianism.They all emphasize a state of being both grand and small,open and convergent.And its practical significance include three parts,the effect of purification mind,promotion moral level and uniting the people.
