Many of BAI Xianyong’s works involve erotic writing.The characters in his writing are often the losers of the erotic world.Sexual desire is the most important part of human nature.The erotic writing contains the author’s deep thinking and deep concern for human nature.This article takes the lust writing in BAI Xianyong’s novels as the object of study.It is divided into four chapters.The first chapter sorts out the characteristics of eroticism in BAI Xianyong’s novels.According to the different motivations and performance characteristics of the character’s struggle in lust,it is divided into three categories: lonely,distorted,and lost.The second chapter focuses on typical characters in erotic writing,including men who disseminate femininity,women who have experienced vicissitudes of life,and naked sensual incarnations.The author’s emotions are often stored in the character’s image,and the suffering of the character is the author’s heart of sorrow.The third chapter discusses the author’s ideological background behind lust writing,excavating the temperature and depth of eroticwriting,so as to explore the potential purpose of BAI Xianyong’s lust writing.Bai Xianyong described his diverse world of passions with his sorrowful sentiments and unique and delicate brushstrokes.This is not a simple issue of emotions and desires.It is the helplessness of writing human nature centered on eroticism.Behind this is his compassion for the world,his love for youth,and his groans for impermanence in destiny.The fourth chapter analyzes the expression of eroticism,focusing on contrast,stream of consciousness,and symbolic metaphor.The use of contrasting techniques,on the one hand,shows the contrast of the same figure in different time and space,reveals the emotional evolution of the characters from the past to the present,and on the other hand makes the characters more clear through the comparison of images between different characters.The use of stream-of-consciousness techniques finds a hidden and direct way to explore the inner world of characters,making erotic writing more fluid and free.The method of symbolic metaphor makes BAI Xianyong’s works appear implicit,avoiding the straightforward demeanor of erotic writing and making the works more aesthetic.
